Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | Did I lose control of my compulsion?
Alright, I was at work and at times I get these nervous attacks where I think I’m on the verge of compulsively doing something bad, like touching or hitting someone.
This one moment, I saw someone walking my way and the thought of touching them came into my head. I started to become more and more nervous as I got closer to the person. I started to have thoughts like “do it, do it.”
I also felt my arm move slowly towards their way. I didn’t touch them, I don’t think but what freaks me out is that I think I was trying to fulfill that compulsion. I’ve had many of these before, but I felt very sick to my stomach and nervous this time.
Am I losing control or did I lose control just then and there? Or was I trying?
Can someone help? |

When I was hearing blasphemies which had to do with my compulsions, I would just ache to WANT to say it, even scream it out. It happens  I would get that weird feeling in my stomach even a sickening feeling probably because on one side I was being pulled to prevent it and than on the other side I wanted to scream it out because I couldnt take it any longer  In the end, have you seen a doctor about this? If you would like, I can pray for you

Does that mean I was? Part of your compulsion wanted you to But not you yourself. It is weird I know but it is hard to explain. A compulsion is never something you want to do or say, it is against what you wanted in the first place.

I do not really know what to say.Just maybe see a doctor about this and maybe pray about it also.
