The huldufólk are thought to live in another dimension, invisible to most. They build their homes inside rocks and on craggy hillsides, and they seem to favor lava formations.
What's wrong with this picture? Can anyone spot it?
I'm sure you're looking for "but they're only thought to exist." Which is different from God being thought to exist, because his existence was documented by goat herders who never actually saw him. And that documentation automatically gets the same credibility as, if not more than, scholarly journals, multiple lines of evidence, and the life's work of legitimate scientists. And you say this like you're some kind of professor. That's what's wrong with this picture.

Nope --- look again.
They live in another dimension, but they build their homes inside rocks and hillsides?
Ignoring all the contradictions in the Bible that far outnumber anything in Icelandic folklore, they could make their homes in rocks for when they're visiting. Like holiday homes.
