I believe they are mediocre, even a cut below the off-key Beatles, and just got lucky hitching a free ride at aid concerts and political platforms...
What song of theirs is great that really sticks out ? The band and their music is sub-standard. I don't even hear their music on the radio anymore and have not for years.

Here is a great song in rememberence of Bloody Sunday.It ommemorates the Irish struggle for civil rights against British tyranny. It shows the freedom fighters against the British. The leaders of the IRA now share power with their former enemys.
I know that song- it is kind of a mix between a military march and... and... whatever. I actually hed the cassette in high school before they became popular.

U2 makes me mad not just because they are so obviously horrible by any standard but because they rode the shirt-tails of humanitarian and human rights organizations they got an undeserved ride into fame.
It just makes me get really heated listening to Bono talk trash about the USA saying this country does not do enouph. Well, what oh what has his little nation done ? Bono would be speaking German right now and hunting Jews if it were not for the blood of this country.
