Don't let those who teaches you the flesh's doctrines (man-centered) of faith. Your own faith have no inherent value without the Holy Spirit. Your own faith is not based on merit.
Can Christians show strong faith without being filled by the Holy Spirit? Absolutely NO. Faith is the root of works that only the Holy Spirit provides.
The concept of man's (i.e. YOUR OWN) faith meritorious works DENIES Christ's authorship of our faith.
Our faith can only be provided by the Holy Spirit's power and it is not from man's good work.
I am going to my AUTHOR of my faith which is Jesus Christ.
