Actually the Christmas tree can be traced back to celtic paganism.

The RCC also helped a great deal in incorporating original secular / pagan rooted festivities into church / Christian oriented holidays (All saints day was supposed to counter all hallows eve whereas St. Patrick's day is a true Irish Catholic holiday.

Yep Faulty, once a ball always a ball, but in the hands of those who know a lot more than you and I know, they can be a spiritual weapon, which they are. Don't be deceived, after all, we know who the enemy is, and it's within and without, just like the other thread about the "devil's advocate". They try to push things under the carpet as if all things are harmless, when in fact they are not.

Yep Sharon, I've claimed that many times, but when things start to begin to disappear from your home, and little things begin to happen and you think you are imagining things, then you will be surprised how subtle the enemy is with his "wiles". I can speak from experience, get rid of it!
