Shame on anybody, male or female, who tries to get out of traffic tickets, btw.
Right. Next time I'll insist that he give me a ticket. I take my tickets like a big girl on the rare occasion that I get one - but I'm certainly not going to complain if the cop decides NOT to issue one. Seriously. lol

LOL! And I have never gotten out of a ticket, but i have gotten a ticket lowered.
I guess I have more respect for a police officer than to even think of flirting with him, or anything close to it. If you get pulled over, you've broken a law, the last thing you should be is flippant, flirtatious, silly, etc. You hand him what he asks for and say "yes, sir" and "no, sir". Maybe it's just how I was raised.
If I speed or anything like that, I deserve whatever ticket they want to give me. It's nobody's fault but mine. And I'm not going to try and smile, flirt, sweet-talk, whatever...my way out of it.

JMHO.
Well, thanks for assuming that I flirted my way out of the tickets. Sheesh. I handle myself the same way you do when an officer pulls me over. Why? Mostly b/c my dad was a cop for 11 years. I've heard the stories about the women that act sleazy to get out of tickets and I'm not one of them. He liked my perfume. I don't see how I exerted any feminine wiles over him to make him like it. The other tickets I've gotten out of - one was for an accident and the other driver yelled at me and one of the female cops on the scene, so another cop decided not to ticket me and one was for accidentally running a red light b/c I wasn't paying attention. I'm nice and respectful when they come to the car. I don't do anything inappropriate. I'm not going to be apologetic for finding that amusing, tho.

There will always be double standards in life, who said life is fair?

Humm, I had a cop be nice to be too, does that mean he's gay?
Sometimes cops just take into account that you're human, so treat them with respect, and it'll be appreciated.

I didn't assume anything about your behavior, FNG. I was commenting on ANYONE who tries to get out of a ticket, male, female, whether they cry, flirt, joke, whatever. It wasn't personal. I also said it was JMHO. Wasn't stating it as God's Truth for all people, everywhere.
I understand Ink...but since I was the only one that had commented about getting out of a ticket, it felt indirectly directed at me, so I felt compelled to respond. I guess my point is that your humble opinion is kind of presumptuous and not necessarily true, so I thought I would speak up that not all women that get out of tickets behave that way.
