I think that problems arise when there are rules in place but there is blatant disregard for them The more appropriate is that the rule not be there in the first place if there is no intention to comply with it
As a mod I can promise you I will do my best to help those who are not complying, comply. If someone is disregarding and breaking the rules push that report button and they will be taken care of as quickly as possible. Just remember though, we are not always here so while it may take longer than you like for us to respond, we will respond. I promise.

The fire dept came through the mobile home park around 3:30 on Friday afternoon and told us to evacuate. The storm had changed course and come in more south on the west coast than had originally been estimated and the hurricane would be passing directly over us.
I had no where to go except a shelter and I knew that my cat and 2 birds would not be allowed. Then one of my neighbor's came over and invited us (me and my pet's) to go with her to her daughter's house which is made of brick. I quickly packed everything and was out the door.
I had been praying PS 91 over my house and as I ran out the door I asked God to post Angels around the house and protect it.
While we did not get the hurricane at it's full force it still hit us at hurricane speeds. The house I was in stood fast. . .all we had to do was put the couch up against the door because it was shaking and rattling so bad. We could hear things hitting the house but in the dark could not see much.
The next day we wandered through the neighborhood. Tree's were uprooted, litterally pulling up the ground underneath like a carpet and leaving a huge hole. Several roofs were heavily damaged and carports.
My car had been parked in their driveway against the side of the house next to a large bush of some sort. The bush was pushed hard against the car. We had to shop the bush apart to set my car free but there was no damage to the car.
The drive home was a devestating sight. None of the traffic lights were working. Tree's and power lines were laying across the street's and some on top of people's houses and businesses. Roof's were ripped off and window's broken.
When we drove up to the park I live in there were several car's parked outside of it and people were walking in. There were power lines down over the intrance but we were able to manuever around them and go in the exit. There was a huge Oak tree that had uprooted and was laying in front of the mobile home beside it. There was roofing, shingles, metal, and downed tree's everywhere. We could not turn down the 1st intrance to our street due to all the debris so we went down the second. Denise, my neighbor had quite a bit of damage to her home. The porch was gone and there was roof damage. We went on to my house. The huge oak next to it had a large piece that had broken off but it landed between mine and my neighbor's house hitting her gazebo frame and pounding it into the ground. My house. . .there it stood. . .no broken windows, no missing shingles, no missing siding. The skirting was pulled out but it all was left laying there. It was as if the Angels had said, "you can pull it out but ya can't take it". God protected me, my pet's and my home.
Thank you all for your prayer's. It has been good to see all the neighbor's coming out to help each other. Several lost their home's completely. Other's have much damage. No loss of life that I know of.
I still don't have any power and the heat in Florida is high. I'm having trouble sleeping 'cause it's so hot. I'm having to take cold shower's by flashlight. After a min or so the shock goes away But I'm not complaining. . .I have a house to take a shower in.
