Is that true ???
If the HOLY SPIRIT is a person, can he be divided up ??
Explanations please ???
I was wondering as we are called to GREATER WORKS - is that possible - although stated - when we operate on a lower level than Jesus.
and further more
IF the Spirit, "he" the comforter is a PERSON.....what does that word mean......I understand in the greek it means something totally different like "persona" or something.
Scholars - take the floor !

For he is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit.
Without limit or measure doesn't imply measure. It says what it says---NO LIMIT. |

Explanations please ??? He is Spirit. His Spirit is infinite. We can be filled to OVERFLOWING --every single person on the planet! I was wondering as we are called to GREATER WORKS - is that possible - although stated - when we operate on a lower level than Jesus. John 14:12
“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. We have the authority of Christ and are joint-heirs with Christ. Jesus doesn't consider us on any lower level. God considers us equals with His Son---sons and daughters. Scholars - take the floor ! I'm no scholar, but I know that all attributes of personhood is found in the Holy Spirit.
He is referred to as "He".
He rejoices
He grieves
He speaks
He feels
He sees
He hears
He wills
He chooses
He acts
He moves
He withdraws
He convicts
He reveals truth and lies
He instructs, teaches
He reminds
He loves
He hates (righteously}
He gets angry (yet sins not)
He ministers
He comforts
He motivates
He inspires
He fellowships
He touches
He knows
He gives
He dances
He sings
He heals
He anoints
He blesses

So there is a limit then ?
I used the Kings james version. Is that a poor translation of the actual word ?
Are we limited ?

Are we limited ? There is no limit. We are not limited except by our faith.
The KJV isn't poor...people just don't understand archaic wording easily. |
