If four Warnings can result in a ban, then why can't warnongs be appealed? That does not seem right to me.
What if you get four warnings that are unfair, but you can't appeal them, and the next thing you know, you get banned for warnings which were unfair in the first place?
My suggestion is: If warnings can get you banned, then warnings should be allowed to be appealed. Either that, or make it so that only violations can get you banned. One or the other would be more fair in my opinion.
While you cannot appeal warnings to the Reconciliation Team through the formal appeal process, you can certainly ask the Theology staff to look at a warning that you think was unfair in the first place. We should be able to explain why your post was seen as a violation. And if you don't agree with us, you can ask our Admins to look at it.
That being said, please do keep in mind that the rules are pretty clear-cut, and that warnings aren't given in a vacuum. It's a team effort, so more than one set of eyes has looked at a reported post and determined that it was indeed a violation, before that warning was issued.

The trouble is that when we are truthful, the answer must always be "No." So let's ask the question a different way.
Has Jesus given everything for you? Has he dedicated his whole life to you? Has he invited you into his heart? And the answer to that is a glorious and gracious and conscious, freeing, comforting YES!
(paraphrased from Pastor Wolfmueller, Table Talk Radio)
Where are the colors for the fonts? Did I miss a memo or something?
Both in the Quick Reply window and the Advanced window, there is a setting for font color.
Across the top of the window, you'll see the double As crossed out (remove formatting), the font family selector (verdana, ariel, etc), the sizes selector (1 - 7), and then a big underlined "A". That's the color selector. Select the text you want to color, then click on that "A" to choose which color.

Umm...hi? I've been looking for a new forum to post in. Is there one that focuses on studying Hebrew Scripture specifically? That's something I would really like to contribute to. Thanks.

He Endenvegan,
There is a forum for Classic Hebrew (link) but is not very busy. You can also make a thread to discuss only Hebrew scripture in the bibliology and hermeneutics forum (link).

Why is Universalism considered counter to the Nicene Creed? The only line I can fathom that would be taken as contradictory to it would be (paraphrased) 'Jesus will come back to judge the quick and the dead', but no Universalist (at least, none that I have encountered while here at CF) denies that there will be a judgment, or that some will be judged to enter hell. Difference is, Universalists argue that hell will not be eternal. But where is the argument that hell will be eternal in the Nicene Creed?
