Second, practice your religion without adulterating it or toning it down. Third, emphasize love and make it your working force, for love is central in Christianity. Fourth, study the non-Christian religions more sympathetically to find the good that is within them in order to have a more sympathetic approach to the people.”
Every time I am in prayer on this my daughter talks to me. But then I just saw it. As time passes the Lord may bring it up.
One thing did come on my heart; are you reading the written Word every day and are you obedient to it? We must obey what is written and abide in Him, and then we hear specifics.
Jesus says, "I am your shepherd. I lay down my life for my sheep. My sheep hear my voice."
You are His. You are hearing from God, for He is speaking to you.
Say these words, "I am hearing from You, for You speak to Your sheep. And I obey You."

Hi Everyone! Hi Cindy!
So THIS is where you've been!! Sorry, I didn't know about this thread or I would have posted to it sooner. So, are you planning on closing the other one?
No. I'm over there too. This was started while the other was closed down for "refurbishing". Mods had to remove some posts. It's been reopened for awhile now so most of us have been over there, however others are coming onto this one as they discover it.
Soooo......both are open!

I'd thought I'd share this here, although I'll probably put it in my blog too.
For several years now, I have been experiencing a big scalp issue. When I mentioned it the doctor and she told me it was "a name too long to remember and even if I could remember I could not pronounce it". She explained that it was a yeast infection that affects the scalp. Very dry, itchy, red, and flacky.
So, for years I've tried the medicated shampoos and conditioners and nothing. Every time I go into the hair shop (I rarely seem to get the same person twice) the stylist insists that she knows what it is and trys to sell me this super expensive shampoo and conditioner. I did it once but it did not work so I won't get sucked into that again.
Anyway, the only thing that did seem to help some was pouring pure olive oil over my head and letting it soak in. Then washing it out later. Of course I could do this only on my day off and if I did not plan to go anywhere soon. However, the help was only temp. My scalp would soon be back to itching, usually within a few hours.
So anyway, I'm in the shower the other day washing my head and I'm thinking of when I was a teenager with very oily hair and who'd a thunk that at 55 I'd be literally pouring the oil over my head due to dryness. All of a sudden a scripture came to mind, "thou anointest my head with oil" from the 23rd Psalm. I thought "well duh ". Why did I not think of that sooner.
So, for the past week now, I've still been using a new shampoo with an olive oil base but as I wash my hair I've begun thanking God for "anointing my head with oil".
My head has been fairly itch free, and flake free for a few days now.

Praise God! I am blessed by your testimony! Isn't knowing Jesus wonderful? What in the world do people do who don't have Him?
Feed the people around you with your smiles, and your face will become like Christ's inexhaustible basket of bread that fed thousands of people. Your face can feed people hungry for love in their life or at that very moment. "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread." - Mother Teresa ♥
