Absolutely, that is what differentiates Christianity from every other religion. That upon us meeting the requirements which are so absolutely beyond our scope of possibilities to do; of which is to declare ourselves dead to the flesh, carry our own cross of crucifixion and accept our death penalty upon that cross so that Christ may live through us. That is truly a supernatural act that can only be brought about by a supernatural God.
The truly beautiful and amazing thing to me is that once we accept that penalty, God will do everything else through us that He requires. He will shape us as His living stones being perfected for the building of His spiritual temple. He that loses his life for Christ will surely find it for He has come that we may have life and have it more abundantly!
Being a child of God means that you will never have to worry about whether or not you will have food, clothing or shelter, the Father in his abundant love will gracious provide for all those He calls his own.
Praise and glory be to God, the Father and Creator, the Author of Salvation, the Master of my song and great Comforter Most High, may His Son be glorified above all the heavens, that my soul be committed to Him and added to His righteousness. Amen.
