My chopper

This is a Tour Easy recumbent. I like my bicycles long (7.5 ft.) and my tires fat. The wheels are alloy. The transmission has mountain bike gear ratios because I'm more interested in chugging up the hill than flying down it. I replaced the original ape hanger handle bars with this set up to improve the handling. For the sake of reliability, the engine (my legs) is the stock 2 pumper, 1/3 horse power mill. These bikes supposedly handle better the faster they go and there have been rider claims of 70 mph downhill speeds. There are 2 reasons that I don't check out this claim first hand, fear and common sense.
