That is really, really sad. It makes me sick to my stomach to read. I wish I had more money and/or influence. I'd donate money to Campion College and try to persuade upper officials in the Church to take a stronger stand against President Previtt...

Well isn't this strange, the Jesuits in a controversy for a change.
The history of the Jesuits ( in particular )and the Church and all it's denominations is littered with events such as you describe and " shine a light on "
All we can do is stand up for and speak out about the injustices in the world, the church, our neighbour and ourselves.
I heard a true story about Vatican 11 and the preparations for it.
Apparently the Vatican beaureaucrats had all the documents already made out in order for the whole exercise to be a rubber stamp job.
Then when the Cardinals got together, they apparently prayed and decided to " let the holy spirit lead them "...which is why the whole of Vatican 11 took longer than originally anticipated, and turned out to be such a great and successful achievement.
So much for setting things up eh !
Regards
David |

Reps: 34 (power: 0) | | | Novena, anyone? Anybody care to engage in a Novena with me for the express intention of praying for the restoration and healing of the Society of Jesus? I'm thinking a Divine Mercy Novena would be good, and you can even download it with Virtual Rosary's program. Today will be day 1, jump in as you wish.
