There is also an organization that hosts automated online bookstores for nonprofits -- these are hard copy book sales, but online stores. I forgot the name, sorry.
Amazon allows individuals to set up online bookstores with controlled content. For instance, if you liked hot air ballooning and inspirational books, you could offer those two categories, and throw in pet anaconda care... just by adding links. Amazon manages all the sales and distribution -- you just get customers to your site. (Just.)
More specific to what you're asking, check out the community at Lulu.com -- there are a lot of self-published authors there, and Lulu automatically offers an ebook option when they arrange printing. |
