Thank you to everyone for all the information given. Of course, you must take information given to you by another human and pray about it to get your own conviction, whether someone is reliable as a resource, or not. I used to be very much against Benny Hinn but someone I know took her relative to one of his outreaches and they got healed. Judge not lest ye be judged. I know the enemy can do false miracles and you also have to take that into consideration, but false miracles usually never last and this person is now an adult and still healed. Praise God. He can use anyone.
I just got off topic. I am looking for resources so that I can witness to a friend of mine from my "olden" days (before becoming a Christian) who is an artist and paints fairies, dragons, gargoyles - science fictiony stuff. She says she gets some of the ideas from dreams and that they are not "scary" - they are cute looking. I've just recently gotten back in touch with her - after 16 years - and have yet to tell her I'm a Christian. It's easy when you are only talking via email, so far. I'm not ashamed, I'm just waiting for the right time. I don't want to scare her off - I want to witness properly. Does anyone have anywhere I can go (a website, not a book) to research how to witness about this kind of stuff? In past experiences, people want PROOF and that's where I am lacking. Except by my faith, I know that all things that are not "of God" are of the enemy. But don't expect a non-Christian to buy that. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
