I suppose let's start with: Bible is very clear that somebody who practices sin is not a Christian.
Don't we all sin? Where does the bible even mention Christians? Are you saying I can't be a Christian if I've sinned?

The Bible makes a distinction between a person who sins and repents because he understands that he has transgressed God's laws and is convicted for it, and a person who practices sin, that is, a person who lives in an ongoing pattern of unrepentant sin.
I'm not really sure what you mean by "where does the Bible mention Christians". The whole New Testament is written to Christians.

The basic tenet of Deism is that God created and started the universe and then left it to its own devices. It's not a position I hold, but I though you might like to know there is a label for your particular beliefs.
Now, the question is--do you want to learn more about Christianity or are you hoping we'll convince you of the rightness of it? I'm not asking to be snarky. I'm sincerely interested.
