Reps: 1,993 (power: 13) | | | Staying up late Is there anyone else who finds it hard to sleep in the heat? I wouldn't say I am feeling that hot. It is more because of the daylight savings. It doesn't seem like it should be bed time yet. When the truth is, I am going to be getting out of bed at 6:30 tomorrow and should be sleeping now. I just find that I can't sleep. So far I have cleaned the fridge, done the ironing, finished making a birthday present for a 3 yo girl and written a menu plan for this week. I know I should be in bed now though. I will probably regret it tomorrow. I will probably try and catch a few zzz's tomorrow afternoon if I can get my little one to go to sleep. |

I do find it hard to slepp in the heat. Do you have a fan or air con? Even just a little fan can do heaps in the heat. Its been really hot here lately. 30 degrees at 8.30 at night!!!
But we have a/c so its all good!!! |

Reps: 1,993 (power: 13) | | | We do have air con. I am really feeling tired now this afternoon. I feel like having a little snooze, I will push on though. It has been raining today so tonight will be cooler. We have air con, but not in the bedroom. Not to worry, I think it is more the fact it is getting darker later at night and I just don't feel tired enough to bother going to bed. |

back to the original question, yeah, i find it hard to sleep in the heat too. I don't have air-con, but it's always cooler downstairs, so that is one solution.

Reps: 13 (power: 0) | | | That's why I don't visit Queensland in the summer much anymore, Mamaneenie... it's not the heat, it's the humidity that keeps me awake, but boy do I have a horrible time when I'm up there... :-(
Peace be with you...

Reps: 1,993 (power: 13) | | | Yeah, I had to sit through a 3 yo birthday party with a splitting headache. When I tried to snooze on the lounge my little one climbed all over me. Thank goodness I crashed out last night. Also, it has been raining, that helps. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
