Aussie Forum Invasion RETURNS!
Alrighty, I actually forgot about this for a while but it's back.

Regional forum invasion, for those who don't know, is just a fun thing. A thread will be created in one of the other regional forums SPECIFICALLY to bring our aussie flavoured culture into light to others who don't know.

So get pics from the web, koalas, kangaroos, comics, tooheys beer (), use as many slangs as you can. Nothing rude obviously.

I'm no aussie, but i at least understand them . So all you aussies get there and get cracking.

Find all your pics and tell us when you're ready.

No thread yet, we'll invade shortly.

Well, this one is a 5th generation Aussie. My ancestors came from the British Isles with the first settler fleets. I reckon I'd know every slang word in the book...don't know the rude one's though...not on your nelly mate!

Hehe your right, i am technically aussie

I know alot of the slangs, but just don't say any of them. Feels weird to me. But i can at least boast that i can understand the true blue talk from any aussie. unlike the yanks . hehe no offense

Only two slangs i use that are aussie flavoured are 'mate' and 'siiiick'.


I think at the end of an invasion we should post up an aussie flag with the writing. (You have been had by a buncha aussies)
