It is a lie from the pit of hell, to make men fall.

If they thought for one second that they were involving themselves in prostitution, They might give it a second thought before they involved themselves in it.

Jesus said that if your eye causes you to sin, gauge it out. I believe he said this, not so that we would gauge out our eyes, but so that we would realize the seriousness of the situation, and that alone would give us the strength to resist the devil.

I didn't post this for judging anyone.

The reason God has called things a sin is because what he has called a sin causes harm.

Porn is as harmful, if not more harmful, then prostitution to all involved in it. It destroys relationships, women (and men) protitutiting themselves, and gives people a objectified view of women among others things. (Feminists really should be appalled at Most forms of porn, if they were truely feminists).

It was more directed towards christians, who have chosen to follow Christ and his righteousness.
fair points & you're right in principle here... I've often said that
until people realize that sin is BONDAGE, not freedom like they claim
it is, then they'll continue seeing sin as unharmful which it is not.

(most who claim things aren't harmful have no idea what the harms
are & may not know till yrs. later when they finally manifest)

I've heard Dr. Laura tell women that they're stupid for giving out sex
when they could be charging for it instead of giving something
valuable away like they do.
Interesting viewpoint

And we are all in bondage to sin, every one of us.

I'm not sure that Dr. Laura is the best source to qoute on this issue, given that there are nude photos of her for which she willingly posed floating around on the Internet. BTW, when the pictures first appeared the good doctor lied and said that they were fakes. Then she changed her story, admitted that they were pictures that she had posed for when she was in her 20's, and sued to have them removed. She lost the suit; my understanding is that the photos are still available.

I disagree, a Christian is DELIVERED from bondage; given the power by
God's Spirit to overcome thru His Spirit within us....
IF we choose to walk closely w/ Him. It isn't sheer "willpower" like the
unsaved have.

A person is under bondage who continues to live in & be snared
by certain sins. There's a big difference in falling into sin (like we
can be on a diet & fail one day & try again) and living in sin regularly.

Oh please LOL
Um, weren't you in the nudist thread saying there's NOTHING wrong
w/ women going topless & nude art?

& that's hardly similar to intercourse either - in fact if anything
it would entice a person to want that after seeing female nudity

Who cares, is she now disqualified as psychologist now too?
lol

People just hate her becuz she gives sound advice. & like any other
person in that profession, you won't find perfection -
IF it's true (which I've never heard of), she probly learned a big
lesson from that & CAN GIVE GIRLS BETTER ADVICE
becuz of it.

Next thread: why Dr. Laura should be a janitor becuz of her past

Pornography is more decieving.

With prostitution, no one tries to deny to themselves that it is not a sin.

They know it, but do it anyways.

Pornography is much easier to be ensnared by, it's legal, it readily available, and can be done with almost no one knowing it, very impersonal in a way.

It's a more indirect form of prostitution NTL.
