I would say that anything that a product of choice is fair game...I leave it alone if it's a product of nature.
I think political views, religion, sexuality, and opinions are funny. I usually don't pick on race or things like that.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things and evil people to do good things, that takes religion.

I usually don't pick on race or things like that.
Why not, it's so easy to make fun of Jews and their big noses, blacks and their big lips, and asians and their big...well asians don't really have anything big, but you get the point.
I suppose we choose how respectful, or disrespectful, we want to treat other people, how we can either blame ourselves for using slurs, or blame the target for being "too sensitive".
Buddhism simply teaches that you put your own karma into action.
Christianity teaches that you reap what you sew.
Make fun of black people's big lips, then tell people you aren't a racist, but just a comedian. Some will buy it. Some won't. Some will knock your teeth out for not knowing better.

Either everything is ok to make fun of or nothing is. Take South Park or Family Guy. They have no problem making fun of anything and everything. And that is why I love watching it...

Christians have been persecuted from the start. All of the disciples died giving the Good News and as far as I see it. Whom ever gave this message/ topic. Live in isolation or peace "per say" In most parts of the world if you speak of Jesus Christ. You will be at the very least shunned, but for most excommunicated is the least of their problems... Excommunicated from their family's to their community and in some cases If you worship death a cures. Americans are ignorant to think the world revolves around them. Fact, America has only 6% of the worlds population....

South Park crosses a line, like Mr. Garrison wanting to know why his father never molested him, etc.
But I like Family Guy. They make gay jokes all the time, but they are poking fun at stereotypes, rather than targeting them as villians or buffoons.
The whole thing on SP with Mr. Slave and the gerbil wasn't that funny, a really stupid stereotype, and just kind of gross.
