True. It is both. It is also there to reference scripture.
Matthew, Ch 4.
12When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he returned to Galilee. 13Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali— 14to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:
15"Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,
the way to the sea, along the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles—
16the people living in darkness
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of the shadow of death
a light has dawned."

I get my pigments from "Natural Pigments", when I do write in tempera. Most of the time I use Jo Sonja's Acrylic Gouache.

Can't get the Natural Pigments site to work, but this one looks pretty good too.

Use Jo Sonja's Acrylic Gouache from Jerrys Artarama. It is $1.99 per tube.

My friend Nick swears by Utrecht paint, I have not used it. Both Matt and I use Jo Sonja's. I also love Golden brand acrylics.
