The break up wasn't painless, to say the least. He broke through my bedroom door after I locked it and wrestled with me after getting into my face and calling me selfish and self-centered.
While crying in my closet, he looked at me with no emotion and apologized, then told me if I could let him out.
The next day, he sent a text and apologized, but no further action beyond that. It just seems like he doesn't care.
So I decided to just focus on God, and not on the pain, and I haven't called him until this morning, to see if he would pay to fix the door. He told me that what he did last week has been eating him up, and he apologized some more, but it just doesn't seem real. And I regret calling him, because that just made it hurt worse.

I'm sorry for the long story. It's just really shocking when someone you've known for two years, someone whose told you they loved you, all of a sudden doesn't care about you anymore. And I just need prayer, that's all. Thanks for reading, if you did. Have a blessed day.

May God release you from the guilt and shame and rejection that accompanys hurt emotions. I pray that the Lord will wrap His arms around you and whisper in your ear, "Boy do I love you!, I'm glad you and I are friends, just lean on me for a while and I will restore you"
