I'm wondering what style to decorate it in...so many choices! It's a Victorian dollhouse but I don't know if we'll do a Victorian theme. I kind of like the Tudor and Regency looks also.

I don't have room for a dollhouse, but I have a couple of pieces of nice dollhouse furniture from when I was a kid. So my husband built me a house-shaped shadow box. It has two "rooms" on the bottom shelf, and above those are lots of little cubbyholes for other miniatures.

I like doll houses. They're quite cute. But one time, a doll house sent me to the hospital. I was going back to my bedroom and my sister's doll house was right in the way. It was dark in the hallway and I couldn't see. I tripped over it and fell right on to the door frame. Ended up putting a deep gash in my eyebrow. Had to go to the hospital and get stitches. I wasn't worried about it but my Mom heard me fall and called me in there. Really, I didn't even feel much at first other than the slight pain of hitting your head on a door frame. My Mom thought it was too deep so we went to the hospital and I think they put three stitches in it. I was lucky it wasn't worse.

I still have the one my Grandfather made and I have a few others that I purchased at estate sales.
