Yes we are. The real issue/question is this..... What does it mean to be an ambassador for Christ?

That is the exact question I want to ask. In otherwords, What do I have to do as an ambassador for Christ? The common sense answers would seem to be go out there and spread the word of God but I want to see what others take on it.

I am an ambassador.

I think the more correct take on it is not "What do I have to do to be an ambassador for Christ," or even "What do I have to do as an ambassodor for Christ." I think it is more to the point to remember, in whatever you do, you are an ambassador for Christ.
