I've read a lot of these tracts. Presonally, I think they are telling the truth. But what do ou think about them?

My general opinion is that Jack Chick MEANT well, and his heart was in the right place, and the message was there, but like most things of their era, they were quickly dated, and would probably be considered "not relevant" by today's standards.
Some of the early ones are almost comical actually.

I let the audience use their imaginations. Can I help it if they misconstrue my suggestions?-Ernst Lubitsch
Chick tracts are absolutely horrible. In many of them he either shows himself to be willfully completely ignorant or else an out and out liar. As someone who grew up as an atheist and came to faith later in life, many of his tracts were the source of much humor in my circles, they gave me more reason to hate Christians, and they drove me AWAY from the cross. Not because they told me about heaven or threatened me with hell, but because they told complete lies. Many of them addressed situations or groups I was in, and they were utterly false portrayals.
I didn't get saved until good Christian men and women incarnated themselves into my life and lived the true Christian life out in front of me for years, breaking my stereotypes of what Christians were.
I hate, hate, hate Chick tracts and think that in many cases they do far more harm than good.

I have no problem with that one you linked to, but for me I'm not going to support the ministry of someone like Jack Chick. Like I said the man is either willfully ignorant or an out an out liar and either way he pushes many away from the cross rather than drawing them. None of us are perfect, but until and unless I see a change in him (both his materials and a repentance for his mistakes) I would never support him or his ministry.
