Would you consider this lieing?

On some terms and agreements it says things like ' I certify that I have read all sections of the Terms of Use contained in the box above and I agree with all of their terms' Now i know some have told me not to worry about things like this. Its not much of a worry just a question.

ColdDonut: You really make a lot of posts that look just like this one, where you have a moral dilemma about something that most people would consider insignificant. It seems like you are following the law of Moses, and that is not something that will bring you any good. You won't be able to follow it and it will just be a burden for you like it truly seem to be.

Gal 3,10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

So the law is not something that will bring you anything good, but a curse. And Christians should not follow this.

1.Cor 10,23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.

Everything is allowed, so what you should think about is to choose what builds you up and what is good for you, and to seek not what is a gain for yourself, but a gain for others. By this you don't do anything wrong.

Gal 5,13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

So we have not been called by God to follow the law, but to live in liberty. But we should not let the liberty we got (we always get forgiven for our sins) to be a excuse to live lives like those that don't know God and are not believers. Instead we should love others like ourselves. By this we don't do anything wrong, but are free. So instead of thinking "how can I do things to be a more lawful Christian" you can think "how can I do something good for others?". And this is easy. There is always someone that need help with something, always someone that needs a smile or a friendly word. There is lots of ways to do good things.

Hope you felt this helped you, even if I didn't answer your question directly.

God bless

The reason for these terms, is usually so they have a basis for stopping someone when they do it. If they say "no reselling," and someone does, the company has grounds to reclaim what their due compensation.

There are other things in terms, like "this may not work on every browser," which they want you to understand before getting frustrated with the service or product.

It's not that you shouldn't read them, but you can skim the headings that don't pertain to you. It would take us a lifetime to read all the fine print we're given!

I will agree that this is sort of a moot point. I think the 'Terms and Conditions' are more to protect the distributor. If something destroys your computer, you won't be able to sue them. Likewise, don't sell their product without giving them their dues.

Sometimes I go 40 in a 35. Technically, I'm breaking the law, which the Bible tells me to obey. Some things you just let go. I don't think anyone can obey the letter of the law. I'm sure I'm breaking the law or doing something wrong as I type this. Forgiveness my friend, ain't it great!?

God bless

Gave up that sort of worrying after first couple of times of reading these things, they all basically say the same thing.

It's just for whatever legal issues may happen to come up. Contracts are long and redundant because the world is full of idiots. It is more important that they have stated them then whether or not you actually read them. Just know the rules, you don't need all the details.
