I don't know DieHappy, buying a new computer every year at what, about $500 or so or buying one at about $1,200 and it last 4 or more years. Not counting all the repairs I was needing. Money ahead with the Mac, but that is me, might not be the case for others.

"Even as it stands, the Home Guard could only exist in a country where men feel themselves free. The totalitarian states can do great things, but there is one thing they cannot do: they cannot give the factory-worker a rifle and tell him to take it home and keep it in his bedroom. That rifle hanging on the wall of the working-class flat or labourer's cottage is the symbol of democracy. It is our job to see that it stays there."

True. I consider the premium price to be worth the saving in frustration over the life of the computer. My blood pressure is very important to me. My iMac calms me.
Side note - Buy refurbished - I bought a refurbished laptop a couple of years ago from them. It did save a couple of hundred at the time and the warranty is the same. I had no problems. |

They're still making that game?
It seems like it has been forever since I played MW2.
Ha! it has been forever... I'm looking at the back of my cd (blows the dust off) and it looks like MW2 came out back in '95.

Grace, I know what you mean. Hey, when you get all those virus warnings, you take a quick peak at what they affect and get on with computing. Only about 2% of viruses are written for Macs.

Reps: 775,304 (power: 779) | | | My first computer was a mac. The SE/20, back in '87. 3" b/w screen. 20MB hard drive. Something like $2k. Almost no software available at the time. Still, it was state of the art at the time. |
