It was also difficult to watch Palin explain how having a remote part of Russia across the barring Straits form her state gives her foreign policy experience

You are certainly right! I have a feeling that Palin doesn't do a great job keeping up with current events. Quite a few Russians belong to my parish. I guess I can claim to have foreign relations expertise also!
