You are in no position to tell Messianic Jews that they can't be Messianic Jews. They are born into a Jewish family with Jewish roots and Jewish practices. They come to know that Jesus is their Lord and Savior. They don't give up their Jewish roots or practices. They are Jews who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, i.e. Christians. Messianic Jews.
That'd be like converting from paganism to chrisitanity but still observing pagan rituals.
It doesn't work, they can call themselves whatever they want, I've seen people claim to be buddhist christians, they can call themselves whatever they want, but if they call christ the messiah they aren't jews.

This is a gay thread too?

How laughable. Or impressive: "If they call christ the messiah . . . "
Their DNA is miraculously extracted from them and replaced with that of some CCM singer from Nashville.
Man that's cool.
I'll have to email David H. Stern and ask him how it felt.

Um... not wishing to be picky... however, I'm pretty sure that all Christians, but super duper especially those of European heritage DO in fact, continue to observe pagan rituals.
And for quite a long time Christians regarded themselves as a sect of Judaism, it was only later that the two groups moved apart, mostly because Christians are evangelical and traditional Jews arent, and eventually Christianity incorporated more "gentiles" of no Jewish heritage than people of Jewish heritage did the groups become seperate in the sense they are today. But all the Apostles, for example, and Jesus himself, would most certainly have self identified as "Jewish". So saying that people who call Christ the Messiah CAN'T be Jews may be overstating the case somewhat.

As you are neither Christian or Jew, how can you know what being a Jew or a Christian means? There is a lot more to Judaism than just not believing that Jesus is Messiah.
