I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Paris Hilton.
Back a few years ago, I was working in this place that I wanted to get out of so badly! There were rodents, the air was damp and unhealthy and it was also very socially dangerous. Did I mention how desperately I wanted to leave?
In the dream, I was at the top of the steps at this place. There weren't that many stairs, but everytime I went to step down, the stairs turned practically vertical! I was so frustrated.
Then, suddenly, Paris came up from behind me with another blonde girl and said, 'Let's Go!'
It was like the easiest thing in the world for her! She had on baby pink ( a cute little mini dress) and she and the girl just lightly jogged down the stairs.
Brethern! I was right behind her! I wasn't about to miss my opportunity! I got out in real life by the way. Strange; about 2 years after that dream Paris ended up in jail. I related to that and prayed for her!
I think Paris is a little eccentric {people say that about me sometimes} but I think she is really kind in real life.
It’s funny that you should describe your former workplace as unhealthy and socially dangerous, because that describes Paris Hilton’s life. Of course for her, everything seems so fun and lighthearted. It’s easy to be that way when you’re filthy rich and don’t have to work for it. But the path she so cheerfully treads leads straight to the lowest pit of hell, which is basically how you felt about your job. Her lifestyle is also filled with spiritual filth. And, since you admire her so much, it seems that you share a similar value system that will lead you to the same place if you don’t separate yourself from the world and keep your eyes on God.
James 4:4- “...know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
God is so gracious as to bless you with such a dream so that you will not share the same fate that Paris Hilton is headed toward at this very moment.

Because I was just remembering how Paris ended up in jail and when she got out and had an interview, she said she think 'God' let it happen for a reason.
I found out something in this new millenium. Their is a lot of jealously, bitterness and anger among the Christian populace and a young man who recently became a christian asked the question, what happened to the church?
I wanted to know the same thing. People don't think celebrities have souls or feelings. So I pray for them. I think people tend to forget.
Once in a blue moon, a celebrity will find the Lord. But the pull of the world is very strong, and it’s difficult for them to truly follow God, provided the version of Christ they believe is in fact the God of the Bible and not some watered down version that is often coming from the pulpit today.
Take away the money and notoriety and they’re no different than most of us. Having said that, I wouldn’t trade my life (or yours) for any of theirs. I’m not trying to dissuade you from praying for them, but it’s just as rewarding praying for anyone else, especially those who have nothing.

I feel the same way Angelsword. These celebrities do need our prayers and the Christians working among them definelty need our prayers as they are fish swimming upstream.

Do you realize virtually everything coming out of Hollywood and Nashville, and all these other entertainment centers, is nothing but pornography, violence, paganism and anti-christian agendas?
These people don't know God, and they don't know the Bible. They just use the name "God" or "Jesus" from time to time to take advantage of others. Much like a politician, come election time, they throw on their religious robe, and call themselves a "Christian," Yet their stance on the issues is anything but Christian, and in some cases they openly mock the Bible, but the unlearned and ignorant fall for it by the millions.
TNT and the Disney channel, that all the kids are being raised on these days, along with the Sci-Fi Channel, are nothing more than the "Witchcraft Channel." Everything about them is witchcraft and wizardry designed to desensitize the watcher to the occult.
But its "ok" say the so-called pastors. "They teach 'family values'."
No they don't. They teach the worship of the devil in disquise.
The entertainment industry appeals to "Sin, the Flesh, and the Devil," and "The lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life."
Paris Hilton is always on that "E!" channel, and the few times I happen upon it flicking from the weather channel to a news channel and back, its always something promoting pornography or some other sinful lifestyle.

You can't be a rock star and a Christian at the same time, certainly not an effectual Christian anyway. Jesus said, "You cannot serve God and Mammon. Either you'll hate the one and love the other, or else you'll cleave to the one and despise the other."
Jesus said, "woe unto you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets."
False brethren and false prophets are "popular" because they tell people what they WANT to hear. "It's ok to be a homosexual. It's ok to play that role in an R rated movie. It's ok to drink alcohol. It's ok to throw orgys and act like a contrary harlot, and on and on and on...".
Then "all men" speak well of them, that is, the vast majority of people think they are "cool", think they are "all that", but Jesus called them false brethren and false prophets.

You have a good point Wade, but please realize the same thing you mentioned about 'throwing on the robe' goes on in every Christian community, including CF, but true Christians cannot stop for that!
We have to be outside of evil, looking into the heart as God wants us to and still pray for these people who are obviously evil, so different from the veiled evil I see everyday in the Christian community where you have some ppl who are witches, going to church, shouting in tongues and using that launguage to curse God!
It is up to us a true Christians to uphold what is right and ask God for wisdom. I am really disgusted by the hypocrisy I see in the Christian community. If I can see it what about secularists? Maybe that is why they are turned off? It makes our job harder, but not to be given up! Many Christians need a bolder face and give it all they have without holding back the way sinners sin fearlessly and get results! What are we doing? I am on a second book with hard-hitting truths that will acheive this by God's grace. Let ppl know what's been going on in my life! NOT DULL!
