Don't pray against the stiff necks. Don't pray against rebellion. Don't pray against hard heartedness.
Rather pray for blessing to rain down. Something close. Something personal. something meaningful. something that humbles by causing one to fall voluntarily upon the ground in utter awe and gratitude.
It takes something to awaken that response, so don't pray for the response in some vacuum. Pray for what will awaken it and as surely as night follows day, and sunrise follows darkness of night, so the rest will come forth in its train.
Dear LORD how wonderful YOU are.. loving kind merciful and gracious.. long suffering towards us desiring that none.. not even one perish!! Father we long to see YOUR goodness and blessings flood the earth.. so that men, women and children's hearts cry out to YOU and sense YOUR nearness and compassion on them.. They would run and not grow weary.. walk and not grow faint.. Find joy in sad situations.. peace in anxious times.. and hope when all was hopeless.. Halleujah.. what a Saviour..

This touched something in me, we should be praying for God's goodness.
Not concentrating on the bad and so giving Satan attention.
If we give Satan attention , even negative he is happy because we aren't focusing on Jesus.
