While it is true that the idolatry of entertainment is a serious issue today, there is nothing wrong with enjoying some great music from local talent. |

Reps: 175 (power: 0) | | | I watch it and love it! I think it is okay, as long as you do not continuously idolize the 'idols' and make the show 'own' your life. It helps Canadians have an idea of what works in the music industry and what doesn't. |

One of the kids went to school with my sister so she says it's a bit surreal seeing him on there- and having the talent he does!!
The only thing I think is a bit too bad is that no matter what, these people will always have the stigma of being a 'Canadian Idol' artist- a little bit cheesy
