Reps: 684 (power: 0) | | My fiance (boyfriend at the time) and I went out for our 2 year anniversary. We got all dressed up and went to the Chanhassen dinner theatre to see The Sound of Music. We ate dinner and then I wanted to go look at some pictures outside of the theatre but Josh wouldn't go with me, kinda strange. So, we sat at the table waiting for the show to begin. I had been waiting quite a while for a proposal but I was convinced he would not do it on our anniversary, so while we waited for the show to start I was playfully teasing him about taking so long to propose to me. Then the announcer came out to introduce the show, he started saying happy birthday to people in the audience and then he said "Tonight we have a very special treat because Josh ____ would like to ask his girlfriend Jill a very special question" They put the spotlight on us and Josh got down on one knee in front of 550 people and said "Jill we've been going out for 2 years now, and I love you very much, will you marry me?" I said yes really quick and I was bawling my head off. I have never been that shocked in my life, 5 minutes earlier I was teasing him about not proposing yet, and then he did! He didn't know when the announcer would come out so that's why he made us stay at the table. It was really cool
