Reps: 4,355,480 (power: 4,370) | | | Strength Training My DH told me it's best to do strength training 6x/week: two days of legs, two days of chest, and two days of back.
I JUST started strength training and am amazed at how much extra energy I already have.
Anyone else have the same experience? |

I separate into what's most related to chest/back and do the different arm muscles on those days.

You just gotta experiment and see what works best for you. |

Reps: 596,269 (power: 600) | | Strenght training definitely helps with overall fitness and health.
It's sooooo important as we age to incorporate strength training into our workout routine because we lose muscle mass over time.
Anyway, I used to work out, doing weights training for 5 days a week and 2 days rest. But nowdays, I usually do more cardio.

im training to join the army and when i started, it was so flabby and out of shape. my brother (ex army) went all crazy drill sergeant on me and was like yelling "YOU CALL THAT A PUSHUP PRIVATE?! MY GRANDMA DOES BETTER PUSHUPS THAN THAT AND SHE'LL BE 85 THIS SPRING" hahahah. but it taught me to do it right. and i started doing other exercises, and man... i actually feel strong for a girl. like, almost as strong as a guy. it feels good to be sitting on the floor too and be able to get up with no trouble and no support. weeeeeee strength training!

and trains stop for you, and so do boys when you run your fingers through your hair. but resistance is futile. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
