Also my views on birth control come from my religion, saying that murder is wrong is less a theological view then a basic secualr human rights view, if the unborn child is a human being then it should be protected by the law, a christian who argues for the legal murder of the unborn is no better or worse then a christian who argues for the legal murder of others based on race, religion or nationality

They do according to your rigorists.
They say that the Pill and the IUD prevent the implantation of the fertilized egg. That makes them murder, according to the fanatics.

When did I say I'm arguing for the legal murder of the unborn?
According to your religious views of when the fetus becomes a human person entitled to legal protection, it's murder. But it's not murder according to secular standards, nor is early abortion murder according to most of your Christian brothers.
What it comes down to is that Republicans can steal votes from the weak-willed on the abortion issue, but they'll lose more votes if they attach birth control as the same issue. |

that is not my religious view, that is my moral view, my religious view is about birth control so I do not try to force that view on other people.
My views agianst abortion do not come out of the Bible anymore then my views agianst murder come out of the Bible, since this view that murder is bad comes from the Bible do you think that we should not make it a law?

You are arguing for legalized killing of a human being no matter how you try to dress it up. If you think that God does not mind, then that's between you and him. Personally, I believe that anyone who supports abortion is a moral reprobate and I won't vote for them regardless of their party. |

You continue to willfully confuse political with moral matters. I judge that this continued obfuscation is a grievous matter that you should take up with your confessor.

If your definition of a fanatic is someone who believes that the unborn have a right not to be murdered, then yes, I am a fanatic and have absolutely nothing to confess in this matter. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
