How does the bank actually work?

I saw the thread a while ago saying the bank is operational, but it's very different from the one I was used to before the big changes this summer. Is there a thread that describes exactly how the bank works?

In the old bank, interest was collected when you hit the button, which appears seven days after your last transaction. Now there's no button, and transactions take seven days to "process." How's that actually work? When does it actually collect?

You don't need to click anything for interest to be added now It is automatically done every seven days. The processing is in relation to that. The interest you gain is on the amount you had at the start of the week, so anything you add onto that won't be compounded until the next week which is why it is only 'pending' but you still can't access it. In the old system, if you added extra blessings during that 7 days you would go back to day one for interest and have to wait another 7. Now, instead of having to do that the interest is still given, but only for the original amount.. and it is probably easier to explain with an example

Sat 2/7 - you have 500 blessings in the bank and it is the beginning of the week (which would end with 5 blessings interest 7 days later)
Mon 4/7 - you add another 500 blessings which are then pending
Sat 9/7 - you gain the 5 blessings interest, and the pending blessings are added. You now have a total of 1005 blessings, which would give you 10 blessings interest at the end of the next week.

I really hope this is helping to explain it I am struggling with my definitions today.
