Well with so many people in the US and around the world criticizing us concerning our policies around the world and in turn degrading the moral of our troops, it’s nice to have our president, who has many times over, shown that he is not a cowered, go to our troops to boost their moral and ours. Lets remember to keep praying for our Troops and our President so that the light continues to shine in this dark world.

I am trying to think of the last president to put himself in harms way for love of his fellow man. I am amazed at the pure hatred that some people have for this man. It is amazing to me.
It was the right thing to do. I am sure the men and women of our military were glad and honored to have Him there. It's not easy on holidays, I can testify to that. We are blessed to have Bush as president.

Definitely took some guts to do that, if word had leaked out every saddam supporter in the country would probably have been waiting around baghdad airport with any weapon they could find to try and shoot him down.

It's going to boost troop morale, but yah, I think it's a political ploy.
I must say I am extremely surprised...and pleased. Never thought I would say this about the Bush admin! lol

What a wonderful idea to visit our troops. I am sure the troops were extremely pleased to see the Commander in Chief. Wow, what a surprise to everyone!!! I felt it was a surprise even for me. Truly something more to be thankful for.
