I am a Christian yet due to a life scenario I have been plagued by depressions. Along with my depressions are thoughts of suicide. I need help and a cure from this life in hell that i am living, and believe me it is a life in hell. I desparately want out of this living hell. Someone please give me some real affective and lasting help. I want out.

Well, you're calling to the Lord and that's the right place. I don't know what your circumstances are but often we men bury our problems and don't address them cos we are proud or because there are taboos to men showing 'weakness'. Is there anyone you can be vulnerable with and talk to?
I would really recommend some Christian fellowship. There is only one thing worse than having a major problem - that is being alone with a major problem. I recommend joining a prayer group or two - the support that will give you will be beyond your expectations. Utterly great.
Do not entertain the thoughts of suicide. They are false. Realise this is a phase that you will come out of. That life has great joys in store for you as the Lord has a great plan for you yet. Have you accepted that fact that Jesus will sort this out for you if you call on his name? If yes, then great, you are half way there. He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE... isn't that awesome? Absorb the promise.

Heavenly father, name above all names, I pray lord that you will descend on this man, and that you wil heal his life lord. Bring him out of the darkness that he walks in, and walk with him through the tough times he faces. Lord be with him in all that he does, and guide him with your steady hand. Your child is in need of his fathers care Lord, and I pray and believe that you're going to bring a peace and a joy into his life the likes of which he has never experienced before, as only you can. In the holy name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
I've walked in your shoes man, and I know how it feels. And all I can really say is that the only reason I'm still here today is because God has a use for me, and his love and mercy saved me from the unthinkable. I'm here for you if you need me.
