wow thanks for starting this thread, Amy I know that sometimes I feel like what you described.. sometimes I go through trials and feel sort of broken/messed up inside, and just want God to heal me and to know that He loves me. In fact I was going through something like that the day you posted this thread so this is really encouraging!! I love your art, and God has definitely used it to help me realize more of His love and mercy.

Those are some of my favorite paintings that you've posted, Amy! I agree, the first one looks even better after the storm. :-) Isn't that just like our Beloved Jesus. Amen!

Here is another illustration that went through the flood. I wanted to portray the patient longing that Christ has for us in the way He is clasping His hands together. His head is bowed depicting His humility. Although He is powerful and almighty still He chooses to knock at our door when He could force it open.
