Do Christians collect Guns?

This one has some WWII stuff, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Walther P-38, Arisaka type 45. W/ mum intact and original leather sling.
Still want a luger or a Thompson.

These are old pics.
1 Is an M1 Carbine it fires a round a little larger than a hand gun round

2 is the Walther P-38 Mauser, C96 Broom handle they are German's Officers side arms. The C96 like the luger are remnants of WWI. Various pins and patches. Japanese officers Katana, and a type 45 Rifle. My Dad had one of these rifles given to him by my grandfather I think. Who knows where it is now. I do remember the folding bayonet, did alittle research and found one at a gun show a few years back, and out of respect to his memory I thought I should get it and pass it along to my kids..

3. Are 2 M1 Garand. One has a rifle grenade attached and the other is equipt with a bayonet.

Some of this stuff I got from my grandfather as war trophies, and the rest i picked up over the years. all of them are in good working order and ready for when the Zombies attack, or for when my kids sell everything to a pawn shop for gas money..

What are you going to do if they ever outlaw weapons in the hands of the common people?

That is not likely to happen. Perhaps you are not aware of the most recent ruling by the US Supreme Court upholding the second amendment as written.


I currently have an SMLE, Galil, Valmet M76, 12gage pump, .22 Ruger pistol, and a Stevens .22 rifle.

Well in the U.S. they did out law all automatic weapons before a certain year. and even so, you have to have a law enforcement back Ground or a class III dealers license to have one. And also you have to have a Curio/Relic license to transfer or take possession of any fire arms across state lines, plus you have to have a conceal/carry permit to even carry a gun on your person in public...

I say all of this to say, the best, or closest thing the government will be able to do is add more restrictions to the already strenuous laws.. If they choose to do this then I'll have to file more paper work, and go through more background checks, and pay more "fees" To do what i like doing in my spare time..

If they do actually pass a Bill that disarms America then I guess I'll buy dummy receivers (the Gun frame which everything is attached to) and continue to display and collect.. (this is what people do when they have an Automatic weapons that they are not supposed to have.. 90% of the Gun is real and ready to fire, but the piece that everything is bolted to won't allow bullets to be chambered.) So the gun is inert. But in a since still very real, and in my case so is the history.

I do have a bayonet spike For your SMLE. I had one for a short time but traded it for some pieces and parts for other stuff i have.. I do have modern stuff too, but I really like the old stuff way better.

Hi everyone! I'm new here and this is my first post.

I think it is perfectly acceptable to own, collect, shoot and carry concealed any gun, pistol, shotgun, rifle or air gun that one chooses. Now shooting is one of the things I enjoy in my spare time.

I have probably 30 long guns and 10 handguns in my safe right now. I do not hunt, although I did at one time. Target shooting is easier, does not require a licence nor do I have to field dress, clean, butcher and freeze anything either. I just pick up my paper targets and go home to load more ammo.

I think I should say here too, that I am a not so good Christian. I try hard but it seems I always come up short of Gods will. I'll keep trying though.

Good is only a matter of perspective. If any of us truly think ourselves to be "Good" christians, then clearly we have over thought the matter..

What type of long guns or hand guns do you own? Do you like the modern stuff or the older curio/relic stuff?

I don't hunt much either, I just like the noise and smoke I really don't want to have to kill anything.. But I will if need be.
