Rose decided that if these were the bad guys, then she had to get out of here as fast as she could. She glanced over at some horses tied to a tree branch. Hmmm, I wonder she thought. She waited till every one had gone to bed overhearing some men talking about vicious talking wolves, and she had an idea. They had two men on watch, and she needed a distraction, so she made the best wolf howl she could and projected it as loud as she could. The two guards jumped at the sound of it. They looked around as if they couldn't figure out which direction it came from. They said something in another language and walked in opposite directions neither of them her direction. She made a run for it. she quickly untied one of the horses and climbed on it. She rode off and one of the guards noticed and started running for another horse. but he was too late she was already gone.

Lucy finally made it to the camp and saw that they needed her. One was dead, one was severely wounded, and Edmund was hurt. As soon as Peter saw her he asked,"Why aren't you at the castle?" "I heard the horn and thought you might need me, and I think you do." Peter stared at her." I guess you're right." he said. Lucy walked over to the wounded knight and put one drop of the sweet juice in his mouth. He was instantly healed and sat up relieved. Then she went to Edmund and gave him a drop too.

Rose rode as fast as she could to get as much distance between her and the army. She finally saw a camp fire in the distance.

"It's Calormen, they are attacking." Peter said as they sat around the camp fire. "Calormen. We had better go back to the castle and gather some troops." "Yes, that's a good idea." Then Lucy heard something. Galloping hooves. "Peter do you hear that?" asked Lucy. "They're back!" exclaimed Peter. "No, Listen. It's only one."

Edmund sat up, dazed. "Where'd they go?" Seeing his sister, his disorientation worsened. "Lu? When'd you get here?"

Focus....Calormenes attacked....Lucy must've just gotten here...now there's someone else?

He leapt to his feet, sword drawn, and crept toward the bushes, surprised when a young girl came out. She was small, terrified, and--strangest of all--human. Not Calormene, but light-skinned like him and his siblings. Edmund sheathed his sword but kept his hand on its hilt in case this turned out to be some sort of trap.

"Hello," he said, doing his best to sound friendly when inside he was shaking, "where did you come from?"

Rose stepped out nervously eying the sword. They weren't those horrible people that she had seen but she was still terrified."Please don't hurt me!" she pleaded.

"Don't worry we won't hurt you." Lucy said. "Where did you come from?"

Rose looked at the girl who spoke. "Then why does he have his sword out?" she asked.

"I put it away," Edmund said defensively before realizing that the last thing this girl needed was defensiveness. "Sorry for the scare, but we were just attacked, so you'll have to forgive us if we're a little...on edge." Sighing, he tried a different approach. "What's your name?"
