I visited the debate thread and the block on my computer won't allow the videos Elijah posted to be seen, however I watch the Lakeland meeting with no problem. Apparently the link is not directly to the meeting. So what is it then?
Cindy dear those videos are doctored videos from You Tube

In regards to quenching the Holy Spirit, unfortunately, I've done it, also. We can do it in so many ways.
Recently read where a couple was getting dressed for a church service. He told her - If the minister sings "I love you truly" in my ear, I'll give my heart to the Lord. When the guest speaker got to the podium, the Lord told him to do that. He really didn't want to and asks several times before he finally agreed. Once he obeyed, immediately the husband went to the altar and gave his heart to the Lord.
Sometimes it may not seem like it has a purpose to us. I think the fear of Yahweh enters into it - willing to do what He wants regardless of what others think - especially myself.
Or the prophet in 1 Kings 13. I think it took a lot of courage to act boldly on the Word of the Lord and declare what he did to Jeroboam. Too bad later that day he disobeyed God and it cost him his life. A lion killed him.
And there is Elijah who challenged 400 prophets of Baal.
Yes, to be obedient like that, not loving my life, but willing to risk it in obedience.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Acts 20:22 And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, 23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. 24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

I experience those types of physical manifestations sometimes and yes it is controlable. In fact I have on a few occasions quenched it.
Please explain the types of physical manifestations and how you got them.
Thanks

Most of it is that when the presence of God is extremely evident I will start shaking on the inside. If I look around and pay attention to others and outside distractions nothing will come of it. But if I keep my mind on God. And continue to worship Him that shaking will show on the outside of me. It has happened in church, watching a preacher on tv. Or in my home worshipping.

How did it originally come about? Do you know what it means or what you are to do with it?
Any other manifestations?
Thanks

That's sick. - Christian. Biased. - Seems to me those two words don't go together. And the people that post them are called Christians.
