Logical Proof of the Existence of a Divine Creator, Why Atheism is Not Logically Sound

By Yomin Postelnik Monday, June 9, 2008

One of the beautiful aspects of self evident truths is that they can be proven on both the simplest and the most complex of levels. By contrast, to make an argument for what is in fact an illogical fallacy, one must use plenty of skill, sophistry and remain beholden to a dogmatic protection of what is really an illogical position. >>>
I was going to carry on but your article does not deserve my attention. You cannot have any complaints about criticisms levelled at you for the content of this article.

It is as bad a piece of scientific rebuttal has I have ever read. The only thing it shows or proves is your ignorance to science and your overwhelming indoctrination to the logic-less, magical mystical, self proclaiming religion of backward non-thinking creationists.

If this is the extent of your logic, then I am afraid you really are stupid.

Did you make it through to his proof of the divinity of the bible?

Do you think fstdt would take the entire article as a cut & paste?

I just revisited the article: It is total bulls---, basically philosophy and bad philosophy at that.

The person who wrote this article has the intellectual capacity of a rabid squirrel.

It’s not worth a cut and paste, or any more of my time.

Crap, crap all the way down.

Not having the patience or persistance of Job I never got past the inane repetitions of 'Something just had to create this'. That is not proof, it is unfounded assertion. But I did get far enough to read this:

Even if all the planets somehow formed themselves, all somehow staying in perfect orbit and possessing gravity, even take for granted that all the chemicals needed for life were so how there as well, by sheer happenstance, would it then be possible for billions of species to spontaneously come about, each with a male and female of each kind so that they could exist in the long run?
Last I heard most plants and microbes are not male and female. Meaning most life is not divided this way!

Glaring easily verified factual error.

The logical errors are as big, just better disguised.

Soooo..... You decided to come here to receive more abuse for some reason? Maybe you should take the fact that so many are castigating your article as a clue that it might not be up to snuff? Unless it is a Poe. If so it is a brilliant piece of work.

Courage is the price that life exacts for granting peace. The soul that knows it not, knows no release from little things; Knows not the livid loneliness of fear, nor mountain hights where bitter joy can hear the sound of wings. How can life grant us boon of living, compensate for dull gray ugliness and pregnant hate unless we dare the soul's dominion? Each time we make a choice, we pay with courage to behold restless day, and count it fair.

No, he came here hoping we would console him and sympathize with him for getting unfairly beaten by those evil atheist evilutionists

Well sorry OP, you're getting thrashed for your stupidity by atheists and Christians alike. I suggest you take a little time to actually look at why other Christians disagree with you.

They [atheists] believe that not only did whole planets appear spontaneously,

Planets did not appear spontaneously. They formed by the process of accretion, where debris pulled together to form large balls due to the force of gravity.

but also believe that the fact that these planets do not collide as meteors do,

Current theories on the formation of the moon state that two planets collided to form the Earth-moon system.

that they have gravity,

All matter has gravity. What's the point of this?

that they contain the proper atmospheric conditions for life to take hold and contain sustenance to sustain this life...

Of the several planets we know of, including eight in our own solar system and several circling other stars, only one is known to have the proper conditions for life.

...
all happened by mere fluke.

Ultimately no one knows why all this happened, or whether there is any actual reason at all. In fact, these views are not exclusive to atheists. There are people of many faiths who agree with all this, namely the scientists who do the research, gather the data and form these theories.

Read this latest post on Pharyngula and prepare to laugh out the contents of your intestines. Apparently, our friend here Ypostelnik is not only ignorant of anything regarding science, but also a bit of a vandalist.
