| Recent Miracles and Other News
My family had a most wonderful experience last night. God is so good, by the way.
My wife and mother-in-law both have lower back problems (well, HAD, at least my wife anyway). In particular, some degerative disk, and my wife had sprained her back a few weeks ago. They were both in constant, terrible pain. They've both been on pain pills for a long time, and had built up quite a tolerance to them, so that they almost didn't work at all unless they were taking far more than their daily limits per the perscription.
So last night we were being ministered to by someone that we met recently. After a few hours of teaching and prophesying, he prayed for both of them (I had no physical problems, so he didn't do that for me). The first thing that He (God, not the dude that He was using as His vessel) did was something to strengthen our faith. My wife sat in a chair and put her feet straight out in front of her. Her legs were not the same length. They were off by half an inch, maybe slightly less. But definitely noticeable. Then he prayed for her, and her shorter leg lengthened right before my eyes to equal her other leg. Then he laid hands on her and prayed for her back. She felt heat going through various parts of her body, and she felt the pain going away. When it was over, she stood up, moved around and all that, and there was absolutely no pain. And she is still pain free today.
God had her mom stand up, put her arms out to the side, and then bring them together in front of her. Her arms were of unequal length, differing by about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. I then watched as God lengthened her arm. It equaled the length of the other arm, went past it, then came back. After that she put her arms out to the side, then back in front of her, and they lined up perfectly. Then he laid hands on her upper back (she had been having a lot of neck pain, in addition to lower back pain, due to a car accident), and after praying for her, she has been free from neck pain. For whatever reason, God did not heal her lower back pain last night. He concentrated on her upper back and neck. But I know that it's only a matter of a very short amount of time until he heals her lower back as well.
In addition to all that...
I had mentioned that my wife had developed a huge tolerance to strong pain medication. She got a headache today. All that she had was some of her pain pills that she USED to take for her back. Since she had such a strong tolerance, she figured that it'd be fine to take one for a headache and it wouldn't affect her, other than relieving some pain from her head. So she did, and it tore her up a little. Apparently, not only had God healed her from her back problems, He also healed her from the affects of taking so many pain pills for so long.
Praise God for His goodness and mercy!
Tomorrow all three of us will be getting baptized. The gentleman who ministered to us last night will be the guy doing the physical dunking (it's always God who does the rest).  |
