I am hungry for You. It would be easy to turn to other things without realizing it simply because we are in this world. We are in this world, but not of it. I ask You to keep us from evil, and to keep us from letting our fire grow dim. May our holy fervor burn ever more. Fan the embers. Ignite us. Reveal the things that rob of us of intimacy with You. We want to make You our dwelling place, O Lord. We want our hungry satisfied with You. No substitute will suffice.
