Peanut Corporation of America passed it's organic inspections. Despite the health problems like dead rodents, rodent excrement and pigeon excrement.

It did not have the required health certificate but the inspector checked the box that it did.

Certification agencies that have certified a lot of produce from China as organic are under investigation since there seems to be no traceable paperwork to show it's anything other than normal produce.

Certified organic produce in California was grown using non approved fertilizer for years, despite it being known that it was being used. No produce was turned down, no farm lost it's certification and no fine was levied against the company that sold the fertilizer.

Organic milk does tend to have higher omega 3's due to grazing being more common, but nonorganic milk from grazed animals would be higher than organic averages. So you can't really make a blanket statement about it. Organic milk lasts longer because it is ultrapasteurized, much like the little half and half cups for coffee creamer. This is done because organic milk tends to be trucked much further and needs a longer shelf life in order to get where it is sold.

Organic is often claimed to be superior nutritionally, but no one can actually show it. If you would take locally grown tree ripened fruit that is organic and compare it to fruit picked green and shipped halfway around the world, there would tend to be higher vitamins.

If you compared locally grown nonorganic fruit to organic fruit picked green in china and shipped to the US the nonorganic would tend to have higher vitamins.

The fundamental foundation of organic foods in New Age religion, mixed with a hefty dose of antiestablishmentarianism. It gets promoted by a wide variety of people, very few of which seem to have a clue what they are talking about.

Oh I LOVE Amy's Pizza! What is your favorite? I love the 3 cheese with cornmeal crust. My mom and I were just talking about all of the healthier pizza's available now. We are lucky enough to have a few little gourmet bistros in town where we can find healthier pizzas and it just tastes better too, you feel like you are getting a more quality meal.

Yep... It is wise to use common sense and not just ride some band wagon.

My local grocery store does not have the 3 cheese but I get the cheese pizza. I also LOVE amy's pizza and I can't eat any other frozen pizza after trying hers!

However, I dislike Kashi's pizza. Both times that I ate it I got real sick and its not as good as Amy's.

Organic or non organic, all foods are riddled with mites, fungis, chemicals picked up along the way. I irradiate these things with frequencies. And THEN, the food is very, very good.

God's Pharmacy! Amazing!

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this?
It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (mo dern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actual ly bal ance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just l ike the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

Awesome, I have thought EXACTLY this for years. Well done.

visionary: Great post, thanks!

I'm also trying to eat organically and locally. Those additives are everywhere - just recently I was trying to find some vitamin supplements, and all of them contained coloring agents! Come on, I don't care what color my vitamins are, but I do care whether they contain unhealthy additives.
