But yeah, I know a lot of people that like Phish. People that don't know the band think it's some hippy crap, but really they are very wise, intense, forceful musicians.

I do wish there was a psychedelic christian jam band. My belief on secular vs christian music is ya the secular may sound good and give you a good feeling but thats a counterfeit or perverted feeling taken from something that was meant to praise god. I love the style of jam band music. Its by far my fav style of music. Id love to see or go to an all christian jam band music fest. That would be so cool. And yes psychedelic music got it's name from drugs but i think it describes a style that has rich harmonies and the fusion of different styles like in phish's case with rock funk and goofyness. I mean listen to any phish lyrics. They are silly. I have faith that a christian band could make just as good if not better sounding music |

When you get 25,000 people in one place with lights and soumd like that when most of them are on drugs everyone there will tell you they had the time of their life. But i think if there was a christian band with lights sound and that amount of people it would blow phish out of the water because it would b a real experience. I hope to see that kind of a show in my lifetime. That would b a party!!! |
