I look forward to working with you . . . Congrats on your promotion
Thanks! I think we'll work well together. Happy New Year!

The trouble is that when we are truthful, the answer must always be "No." So let's ask the question a different way.
Has Jesus given everything for you? Has he dedicated his whole life to you? Has he invited you into his heart? And the answer to that is a glorious and gracious and conscious, freeing, comforting YES!

To sustain the belief that there is no God, atheism has to demonstrate infinite knowledge, which is tantamount to saying, "I have infinite knowledge that there is no being in existence with infinite knowledge" --Ravi Zacharias

i hated it when God insisted i "yawp!"
but He knew i must,
and that my life would not begin,
until i yawped.
We all must learn to yawp.
we MUST awaken the passion,
that part of us that feels intensely,
and is NOT afraid to say so
or to express it.
Otherwise we are just dead men walking.

I have several questions for you of major importance to the site as becoming more Christ-like and in line with scripture :-
-1.- Why is the definition in scripture by the saints and Jesus , defining every person naming Christ , not used in CF as the definition of a Christian? Why is God's word not enough here that CF uses very artificial later definitions in place of those of Jesus and the saints in scripture? :-
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
-2-. Why does CF's structure not reflect the major difference between saints and sinners who hope to be saints but are not yet baptised of the spirit that is identifiable in scripture [i.e. water baptism is often not immediately followed by spirit baptism , and many 'Christians' die without knowing all truth and the future [John 16:13] as promised by Jesus to all his followers (before their death) ... let alone departing from iniquity as in -1.- above and confirmed by many verses [e.g. Matthew 7:23 ,Luke 13:27, Rom 6:2,2 Timothy 2:19], let alone in Jesus commandment as their lord to his disciples not to sin.
-3.- Why is scripture not allowed as appeal in reproof of ad hoc decisions and divisive boundaries on the site when we know modern Christianity is divided and scripture is the only definitive authority for those who do not have all truth yet from spirit baptism [John 16:13]
-4.- Why is the site not run entirely on the law of Jesus , with everyone at least attempting to behave like Jesus toward others if they claim to be Christian , and everyone being accountable to reproof and correction from scripture :-
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Many decisions about the structure and running of this site , including the way people are divided ,instead of being moved toward unism in one truth of God, are simply against the scripture and against what is written that Jesus stood for , and yet not subject to discussion but decided by private interpretations , often of people who admit they are sinners , not saints, and yet are not subject to reproof from scripture.
If it is to be Christian Forums then surely it must be run by Jesus' rules, and that just isn't so in some regards... the scripture is the measure untl we find a saint to run the place, so we need to use the scripture, not private opinions of sinners without appeal to scripture when they make mistakes about site structure and running.
-5.- I have known close friends banned from the site simply because their exit was engineered by those given admin powers simply for personal reasons of disagreement on the meaning of scripture , no-one should be allowed to dismiss some other person from the site without being allowed appeal to scripture ... at the moment it can be used to gag even attempts to explain and apologise and cut people off from even being able to have their friends witness their character and beliefs ... it is not only unjust ,but counter-scriptural and breaking Jesus commandment ... mistakes have been made and will continue to be made until people are allowed to witness instead of being just cut off without even a say , and allowed appeal to Jesus commandment and scrpture in their treatment by the site.
*smiles* thanks for the very good questions! they are indeed thought-provoking.
You're right that we don't define people one way or another. As a message board, we are not in the business of telling people what category they fit into or not. We can only go by what they tell us (which icons they choose, which forums they post in) and what they post (the doctrines they espouse in their posts).
We leave the issue of whether someone is or is not Christian to their spiritual leader in real life. We can only set up a framework for this site, in the Statement of Faith, and forbid members from promoting doctrines contrary to it.
This is a discussion board, not a congregation. If you disagree with someone's ideas, you may certainly discuss the idea itself. But you may not attack the person who posted it.
