Reps: 3,939 (power: 7) | | | Anti-Catholic Forum I have set up a forum for anti-Catholics to defend their beliefs without the fear of being banned.
PM me for a link to the site.

If the latter... then don't mind me if I get sick. |

Reps: 3,939 (power: 7) | | We take them in of all sorts.
We're like an animal shelter.
Usually, the really off the wall fanatics don't last there more than a day or two...without moderation, Catholics are allowed to answer them freely and they dissappear like the Clinton Budget Surplus.
We're developing a really nice community of persons interested in exchanging beliefs without being insulted.
It's slow, but at least it's truthful and honest. |

So far, I have not seen a single honest and legit argument for a defense of catholicism, especially on these forums.

Send me a PM and I'll send you the link.
Then you can make up your own mind.
P.S. I guess that part was just "relative" hey with a response like that? Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts... |

Reps: 1,054,655,232 (power: 1,054,660) | | | I strongly urge that you carefully screen out some of the TRADITIONAL Seventh Day Adventist persuasion.
There are enough of them who prefer to spew personal invectives, and use a flame thrower instead of logical argumentation that they will make anyone's life miserable.
That happened on CARM while CF was down. Despite being polite, and responding to numerous requests to discuss, one poster from CF (traditional SDA) was content to call all non SDAs "dogs and pigs" and referenced a Scripture to do that.
If you do not want that sort of despicable posting, I urge you to be proactive in your site.
BTW this is not an invective against any particular poster here, for I declined to give any identification of the guilty person. |

Actually, I have provisions for that.
I've never debated an SDA, or at least one who'd admit they were an SDA.
I've been called a pig by a non-Denominational among other things, but I'm waiting it.
Not surprisingly, many anti-Catholics come, view the posts, see the debates and are smart enough to stay out of exchanges where there is no possibility of the Catholic getting banned.
Hence, they can't spew their anti-Catholic accusations without being directly rebutted or asked for proof of their allegations.
It's fun.
I love being able to post whatever I want to without my words being censored or edited by the moderators.
The staunchest anti-Catholics that tried to get into it lasted no more than a day. After that, they run off, Google some Chick-like website and come back with what they perceive to be a Nagasaki Bomb.
So, we diffuse it. They dissappear again.
Then, eventually, their faith in anti-Catholicism gets shook and they quit altogether as we whittle away in large chunks their reasoning.
Oh well.
What can we do.
Even on this thread, some have made some anti-Catholic statements, but when invited to actually engage in a debate, remain silent.
The response?
Crickets chirping. |

No!
I compared all those that get banned from forums for stating and defending their beliefs to homeless strays (including and especially Believers).
There was no negative meaning behind my comment. To the contrary...it was meant to be a welcoming comment, that all are accepted and no one is turned away. |
