Is there a reason you have this need to clip off tiny, irrelevant snippets of what I say, and use them as a springboard for these off-topic tangents? It's getting a little irritating.
Please. I ask you humbly to refrain from this. Thanks. |

If I were more experienced and knowledgable of the Quran, I might give you a run for your money.
To be fair, Christians will use the same argument that any violence conducted by Christians are not sanctioned by the bible.
As for the OP, the straightforward answer is that killing of a daughter because she ran away with a foreigner is NOT Islamic. I am surprised this topic has gone through many pages. |

Oh my...I'm speecless..
I can see you're making some threats with some 'hidden' agenda. I'm sorry if that's not your honest intention. But the way I see you start those threads, I'm quite wondering what're you up to.
As to address your...what do we call for wrong idea?...I can't find a suitable word .
That was in Iraq. I'll not raise my eyebrows for that kind of news. What you relate to Islam with the news is wrong. It's cultural. and it's so alien to Muslims at least on the east side of the world.
What made me raise my eyebrows is how you quote the news.
You quoted "] "Not much can be done when we have an honour killing case," said Sergeant Ali Jabbar of Basra police. "You are in a Muslim society and women should live under religious laws.".
and you left this part of the Sergeant Ali Jabbar statement:
" The father has very good contacts inside the Basra government and it wasn't hard for him to be released and what he did to be forgotten"
So, it can made more sense now.
I've the impression that you quote such way in hope to relate the honor killing with Islam. I'm sorry if i'm wrong.
Honor killing in Iraq is not for Iraqi Muslims alone. It's practiced even for Yazidis. Look to this news ---> click here

It happens all over the world where ever Muslims exist. I don't really care if it comes from the quran or not. The fact is that it is a part of the Islamic culture.
The fact that you all seem so intent on denying this simply shows what an embarrassment Islam is to the modern world. |

It HAS become a thing heavily related to Islam.
